Artaq festival, Angers

Jesse and i have just spent a very sunny weekend in Angers, running improvisation orchestra workshops in the bandstand of the Jardin du Mail. A park which aurelie mathigot, with the help of local knitters, managed to cover in knitting and crochet and colours. all done by hand!

Prick your finger knitting shop, Bethnal green

Went to see a highly excellent exhibition by Vanessa Rolf in the highly excellent knitting shop/sewing shop Prick you finger in Bethnal green which happened to be just round the corner from the gig I was playing in st Margarets chapel gallery cafe.

a very great place to find UK sourced wool and excellent knitting/sewing books/tools
